Everyday Carry: Graeme Cameron

Posted by Oak and Oar on April 21, 2011

Maybe you recall back in March we stumbled across Canadian outdoor lifestyle brand, Base Camp X. Manufacturing superior handmade products synonymous with conquering the great outdoors became the mission for founder Graeme Cameron.

Wielding an axe with proficiency at an early age, Cameron fell in love with the tall pines of Algonquin Park, Ontario. Years later this labour of love could not be suppressed and with this passion co-founded Best Made Company based out of New York. A short time there after, having success with Best Made Company, Graeme made the decision to branch out and pursue a solo project. From the ashes came Base Camp X.

Whether you are conquering the Canadian Shield or the backyard woodshed Graeme’s Base Camp X collection is more than sufficient to split and cut wood to your heart’s content for years to come. That is if you can get the courage to take it down off the mantle and put a few scuffs on it.

Enjoy this weeks Everyday Carry with Mr. Graeme Cameron.

BCX Thunder Cruiser axe – my personal blade as I don’t carry a pocket knife

Office and Studio keys – two keys I have no idea where they go

Sunglasses… Smith – no idea what model but you can change the lens out

Wallet – Aluminum Umbra…it was $6

Blackberry – split screen model

Change – Toonies and Quarters… they pair nicely

Business card – 130 Lb stock, Deboss… no excuse for a crap card.
