PREVIEW | ACCESSORIES

Posted by Oak and Oar on May 3, 2012

From the 1930s through to the 1960s the handkerchief was a staple for any mechanic. Secured within arms reach, within the back pockets, the square pieces of fabric were used to wipe the oil from their hands while labouring over the engines in the shop. We decided to bridge the gap between the modern day pocket square and the versatility of the classic handkerchief. Whether you chose to make it practical fixture in the back pocket while accomplishing the day to day task around the cottage or dressing up a breast or back pocket with a Presidential fold, it is safe to say that any of our three options should fit the occasion.

The 15″ x 15″ Chinook handkerchief is constructed of a heavy weight navy/green/orange/white plaid and features the signature damask woven label. Available in limited quantities.

The 15″ x 15″ Dominion handkerchief is constructed of a heavy weight Menzies Navy Tartan and features the signature damask woven label. Available in limited quantities.

The 14.5″ x 14.5″ Oakman handkerchief is constructed of small light weight black and white gingham and features the signature damask woven label. Available in limited quantities.

$1 from the purchase of any of these item will be donated to the Masigcine Children’s Home in South Africa.
