Saint Kris is quickly becoming a household name here in Winnipeg and to tell you the truth it seemed to happen quite quickly. In just over a years time the 26 year old has put out two mixtapes: ExtraOrdinary (2010) and B.Y.O.B. (Be Your Own Being) (2011) making his immediate mark on the Canadian hip-hop scene. As a witness to this rapid growth and success I can assure you one thing, it is for a reason. Saint Kris works harder than anyone I have ever met, spending every waking moment that is not spent working a 9-5, honing his craft and pushing himself to achieve his next goal. And I guess it doesn’t hurt that he possess a natural ability to write catchy,thought provoking lyrics while maintaining a humble persona.
