Oak AND OAR CLASSIC AND POP-UP SHOP

We are excited to announce our second pop-up shop event and our first annual Oak + Oar Classic. So come out to Wildwood Park Community Centre on January 26th beginning at 2:30pm for a little shiny. Bring your skates, sticks and gloves and whatever skill level you may posses and join us for a few hours of shinny at everyone’s favourite outdoor rink. And while you’re here check out our Fall/Winter 2012 line ‘The Life After Midnight’ which will be available for purchase. If all goes accordingly we will have two suited up goalies. We are still working on the format which will depend on turn out so if you plan on attending let us know via our Facebook Event page. We also wanted to have some sort of shoot-out contest at the end where you can put on display your Pavel Bure, so make any purchase during the event and gain entry into our shoot out competition. Each shooter will get three shots of which will be judged. Most creative goal scorer will walk away with a $100 Oak + Oar credit that can be used on the 26th or a later date. Prizes will also be awarded to the second and third place. Shootout will start at 4:45pm. Come for the game, come for the shoot-out, come for the pop-up shop, or come and spectate. POP-UP SHOP AND LAUNCH PARTY | FRIDAY, JUNE 15, 2012

We are excited to announce our first ever Pop-Up Shop and brand Launch Party Friday, June 15 at The Waters Edge Restaurant and Lounge at Adrenaline Adventures. Over the course of the evening you will be able to view and purchase all items that make up our Summer ’12 ‘Summer Loitering’ Collection including our very popular 10 oz. fleece Summer Loitering hood, our range of tees and our very limited GoodWood piece (Cash Only). Alongside some product giveaways and some friends and family pricing – our homie Saint Kris will take the stage ensuring an incredible evening. Oh and did I mention it’s free. Come through, track me down and let’s chop it up, check out the line and stay for some drinks and music. Doors open at 8:30pm. Unfortunately this is an 18+ event but if you do want to come down between 8:30-9:30 to check out the line we can definiltey accomodate you. $1 from every item sold will be donated to the Masigcine Children’s Home in South Africa. And don’t forget about our First Annual Cabin Life Photo Contest (Details). Come out, buy a shirt, snap a picture and you might just win the $250 store credit. The Waters Edge is on the second floor of Adrenaline Adventures located at Wilkes and the Perimeter (access can only be made from the Perimeter Highway South Bound). The second floor restaurant and deck over looks Canada’s largest cable wakeboarding system that consumes over 10 acres. The second best place to be if you can’t be out at the cottage. IDEALL | DIE ENORMOUS POP-UP SHOP

One of our favourite Canadian brands, make that brands in general, is hosting their 2nd Annual pop up shop this coming weekend. If you are in the Toronto area this weekend head over to Homebase (11 Camden St. – south of Richmond on the West side) between 9am-9pm on Saturday. By the looks a great selection of beanies and some nice fleece pieces. If you can’t make it check out Ideal clothing on Sunday when the collection hits the internet.
