The collaboration between Vancouver’s Lifetime Collective and Ken Diamond commemorates NRML’s 15th anniversary. The free event will be hosted by DJ NDN with doors opening at 10pm.
Saint Kris is quickly becoming a household name here in Winnipeg and to tell you the truth it seemed to happen quite quickly. In just over a years time the 26 year old has put out two mixtapes: ExtraOrdinary (2010) and B.Y.O.B. (Be Your Own Being) (2011) making his immediate mark on the Canadian hip-hop scene. As a witness to this rapid growth and success I can assure you one thing, it is for a reason. Saint Kris works harder than anyone I have ever met, spending every waking moment that is not spent working a 9-5, honing his craft and pushing himself to achieve his next goal. And I guess it doesn’t hurt that he possess a natural ability to write catchy,thought provoking lyrics while maintaining a humble persona. You can now download the B.Y.O.B. mixtape in its entirety.
